The building at 15 K.Barona Street was originally constructed in 1904 in an eclectic art nouveau style (architect J.Alksnis), and then thoroughly reconstructed in 1998. The building is located in the very centre of Riga, at the crossing of K.Barona and Dzirnavu streets. The original facade and distinctive interior elements of the building — elegant fireplaces, decorative ceiling moldings, wall paintings in the lobby, etc. — have been preserved during reconstruction, while apartments and offices have been adjusted to modern standards.
